- Launch Discord on your computer, and from the bottom left-hand side, click on the big + icon saying Add server to create a server.
- Set up the server as you like. I am setting up the server as a gaming template.
- Chose from Me and my friends and For a club or community.
- Set a name for your server.
- Invite your friends on the server by sharing the server’s invitation link.
Now your server is all set to proceed to the next step. If you already have a server and voice channel, you may skip these two steps.

2. Create a Voice Channel
To play Poker Night, you need to have a voice channel. Here are the steps to create a new voice channel:
- Go to your server and click on the server name.
- Find and click on Create Channel.
- Select Voice Channel and set a name for the channel.

- Go to Discord Bots to invite the Activities Bot on your server.
- Click on the Invite this Bot button which will take you to the Authorization page.
- Login to your Discord account if needed.
- Select the server where you want to add the Bot and click on Authorize.
Now the Activities Bot will be added to your server.
4. Use Activities Bot to Run Poker Night
You need to use some commands to play Poker Night via the Activities Bot. Don’t worry because I will tell you how you can follow them easily.
Here are the steps to use Activities Bot commands to play Poker Night on Discord:
- Open Discord on your computer and go to your server.
- Type /activity in any text channel of the server, which will bring up a pop-up saying /activity channel activity. Click on that.
- Select the channel on which you want to play poker on.
- Select Poker Night from the following list and hit Enter. The Bot will generate a through which you and your friends will be able to enter Poker Night on that channel.
You can add up to 8 players to the game (including yourself) and a total number of 17 spectators.
