How to fix Discord Desktop Notifications not working

Here are the steps to fix the notifications problem on discord:

1. Check Desktop Notification for Discord

The notifications won’t go through if Discord’s notifications are not turned ON. You just have to make sure that it is enabled and you are good to go.

  1. Launch Discord and click on the gear icon near your username on the bottom left.
  2. Click Notifications under App settings.
  3. Toggle on the Enable Desktop Notifications if it’s not enabled.

This can also happen if you are using an outdated version of Discord. You just have to update it.

1. Configure and correct push notification settings

The first fix you should try is checking the settings and making sure that nothing is muted.

Here is how to configure notification settings on mobile:

  1. Open The discord app on your Mobile.
  2. Click on the Discord Logo from the right bottom corner.
  3. Select Notifications from the panel Under App settings.
  4. Make sure System Notifications and In-app notifications are on.
  5. Restart the app and check if notifications work.

2. Check Mobile Notification settings

The issue might arise if somehow your mobile has muted Discord notifications or due to a misclick.

Here is how to configure it:

  1. Go to your phone settings and Find app settings.
  2. Find Discord and click on it.
