2. Check the invite expiration time
As I have said above, Discord invites have an expiration time. The person who generates the invite can set it to one of the following: 30 minutes, 1 hour, 6 hours, 12 hours, one day, or never.
So if the Discord invite is not working for you, you can ask the server admin or owner to check the expiration time.
They can generate new invites as follows:

How To Generate A New Invite On Discord

There is also the temporary membership option that allows a user to join your server temporarily. The moment the user disconnects, they lose the membership unless you assign them a role.
