Step 2: Tweak Device Settings
Unlock your mobile/ tablet after completing the earlier stage. Go to Settings > Tap on Bluetooth in the settings menu.
After that, under the My devices section, click on the (i) icon right next to your AirPods. Select Forget this device once you get into that section.
Done with the previous steps properly? Good. Open the AirPods lid. While keeping the charging case open, press and hold the setup button ( White button back of the case).

Keep the charging case open and place the buds close to the device- with which you want to connect the AirPods.
