1. Create a new Nintendo user

3. Link new Nintendo account to the new Nintendo user

When you start playing Pokemon Unite with the new Nintendo user, it will check the linked Nintendo account for previous progress.

As there is no saved progress in the new Nintendo Account, the game will start from the very beginning.

Here’s how to link a Nintendo account to a user:

Select the gear icon on the home screen.
Scroll on the left and select Users.
Select the new user you have created above.
Select the ‘Link Nintendo Account’ button.
Select ‘Sign In And Link’.
Input the credentials of your new Nintendo account and submit them.

4. Remove the old Nintendo user

Select the gear icon to go to User Settings from the home screen.

5. Delete the old Nintendo account

By deleting the old Nintendo account, you are ensuring that all the old progress in Pokemon Unite is gone permanently.

Here’s how to delete a Nintendo account:

Go to Nintendo’s official website from a browser.
Go to the sign-in page and log in to your old account.
Click on Other Settings from the left panel.
Select Delete Account from below.
Click on Deactivate and Delete.
Type your password again and hit OK.
Click on ‘Confirm Account Deletion.

The above steps will enroll your Nintendo account for deletion. Though the account will not show up anywhere and will remain inactive, you have the option to log back in and activate the account.
