Here are the seven best 3000 MHz RAM for your gaming build:

1. Corsair Dominator Platinum

If you prefer to tweak your rig, then the first RAM from my list would be an excellent option to buy.

This is a memory kit from Corsair, which has the following specs:

  • Capacity: 32 GB
  • CAS Latency of 15
  • DHX cooling tech

The memory modules from Corsair are always top-notch. I always look up to this brand, and the best part is they never let me down. This model from the dominator platinum series is a top-notch option for those who would like to overclock their rig to limits.

As a RAM kit, it is of the highest class. If you are planning or have an Intel X299 board, I would say this RAM is the best choice because it is specially designed for this board to extract the hell out of it. Don’t forget to check out some of the best 4000 MHz RAMs for a faster gaming experience.

Now, performance-wise, the RAM performed as expected. The rated speed was breached quite easily, and the modules were rock solid. There were no issues related to stability.

As for aesthetics, I would say the RAM isn’t that flashy. The subtle white LED lighting feels alright. However, through the addition of a customizable light bar, you can enhance the lighting aura.

Ending up, I must thank Corsair for developing such a high-performing RAM. I believe no gamer would be dissatisfied with the top-end output it gives.

2. G.Skill Trident Z RGB Series

G.Skill makes some of the best memory kits dedicated to gaming rigs. The Trident Z RGB Series from them is among those notable ones.

This model sports the following specs:

  • Capacity: 32 GB
  • 10-layer PCB

As a memory kit, this model from G.Skill looks pretty cool. Mostly you will like the design or the scheme used in the heat spreaders. I personally felt that the combination of black and slight grey texture is so well done. Also, the existing aggressive fin design has a massive role in heat dissipation.

Now, as a RAM kit, it is not all about the looks. There is no compromise with the performance. As a high-performance memory module that can serve all your gaming needs. Check out some of the best 2666 MHz RAMs for a faster gaming experience.

The RGB lighting is quite vibrant, in my opinion. The glow from the LEDs creates a fluid-like spectrum, which is absolutely stunning. The rainbow wave-like glowing is what made me root for this RGB gaming RAM. In case if you aren’t content with the default lighting patterns, you can always use the downloadable software for further customizations.

I am not done yet!

I tested this kit in my Intel 10th Gen build, and what I found out is that it is tweaking-friendly. The stability that I experienced was top-notch, giving me no chance of complaining.

Moreover, as a memory, this is one of the finest ones with a rated speed of 3000 MHz. As a high-end gamer, I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed with this gaming RAM.

3. Teamgroup T-Force Delta RGB

I was looking for a good-looking RAM coming at an affordable price tag for this list. And what I found out is this model from Teamgroup.

As a memory kit, it attributes the following features:

  • Capacity: 16 GB
  • Energy efficient
  • Aluminum heat spreader
  • 10-layer PCB

This model comes with a very minimal design. But that is the most exciting thing about this RAM. It looks simple, yet it is attractive.

The best part is:

Such design enables the RAM to have an excellent heat dissipation area. Also, the 120° ultra-wide luminous area at the top part of the modules is something that’s enchanting. The colorful bright LEDs are a treat to the eyes. You will find it mesmerizing when you view it for the first time.

In my opinion, the full RGB implementation that this RAM offers is terrific. Don’t forget to check out some of the best 3200 MHz RAMs for a faster gaming experience.

Besides, these modules are energy efficient, which is a must for stable and long time operations.

It worked smoothly on my Ryzen build. Instantly it was running close to the rated speed without any sort of tweaking.

But the problem with this RAM is that it only supports aura sync. That is why it isn’t compatible with most motherboards. If you take this thing out, then it’s a reasonable option to add to your gaming rig.

4. Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro

Here I bring you another memory module from my favorite brand Corsair. It’s the Vengeance RGB Pro that can make a huge difference in your gaming performance.

This model from corsair attributes the following specs:

  • Capacity: 16 GB
  • Corsair iCUE compatible
  • Ten ultra-bright LEDs per module

This is one hell of a RAM kit, in my opinion. Be it looks or performance, it makes a mark on the gamers’ minds in every aspect. In fact, as RAM, it’s one of the best that you can get.

Now, as for this version, I would say that it’s highly suitable for a gaming build. It comes with blackish heat-spreaders that have elegant matte texturing. Also, you would see that the aluminum construction feels highly durable.

Let’s talk about RGB now.

Each of the modules coming with this kit contains 10 LEDs. What I saw in my testing is, they offer uniform backlighting. The glow that these offers also feels blissful.

As for performance, the RAM is top-class. In my Ryzen build, the rated speed was reached quickly. The only problem with this RAM is that it isn’t suited to SFF builds. Therefore, if you’re having an SFF build, forget about this kit.

But, other than this one issue, this 3000 MHz RAM is a pretty good option. Thinking of building a gaming  PC with all 3rd gen AMD components? Check out our experts recommended best graphics card for Ryzen 7 3700xRAM for Ryzen 7 3700x, and the best motherboard for Ryzen 3700x.

5. Adata XPG D60G

This model from Adata is one of the coolest-looking RAM kits on the market. I would say it is the best-looking RAM on my list.

That said, this model sports the following specifications:

  • Capacity: 16 GB
  • Dual-RGB heatsink design
  • CAS Latency of 16

I am sure that you would like this RAM. I mean, who won’t. The heat spreaders might be made of plastic, yet it looks fantastic.

At first glance, I was amazed. It looked stunning, and when the LEDs came to life, it felt ethereal.

As a RAM, it is of enthusiast-class that is available within a mid-budget. If you are having some problems with the budget, it is an offering that you can’t deny.

Again, coming back to the lighting, I would say the design plays a big part in such top-notch quality. The whole body looks like a diffuser. That is why if you like gaming in darker environments, I would suggest you choose this RAM. Check out our experts recommended best RAM for Ryzen 5 5600x and Ryzen 9 5950x RAM.

However, if you ask someone about this memory kit, I reckon they might give you distorted views. There is a notion that plastic heat spreaders aren’t that good compared to aluminum ones. To some extent, it’s true, but that’s based on some context. In the case of this RAM, you would find no issues with heat dissipation. It’s all a myth.

Moreover, as a RAM with a reasonable price tag, it leaves behind a hell of options that you might think of considering. Also, check out our expert’s recommended best RAM for Ryzen Zen 3.

6. Thermaltake Toughram RGB

Why leave Thermaltake behind when discussing some top memory kits? This version of the Tough-ram RGB series can help you squeeze the hell out of your rig.

This model from them attributes the following specs:

  • Capacity: 16 GB
  • 3-way RGB Synchronization
  • 8 million colors

thermaltake-toughram-rgb-ddr4Check Today's Price of Thermaltake Toughram RGB ➜➜

It comes with a 10-layer PCB construction, which is the reason behind the top-notch stability that this RAM provides.

That said:

This RAM is one of those few top-class memory kits that are well-known for superb RGB implementation along with a super durable build-up.

RGB-wise I would say Thermaltake has done an excellent job. The 3-way RGB synchronisation in this RAM is the main attractive element. Also, a total of 16.8 million colors are there for you to customize the LEDs according to your taste.

Also, check out our separate post on will motherboard turn on without RAM.

Apart from these things:

When I was overclocking this RAM, reaching 3000 MHz took a while. But eventually, I was able to breach the rated speeds. Overall, no significant issues regarding performance.

Sadly, this 3000 MHz gaming RAM is a bit costly. So, I don’t think it’s a viable choice for you if you are on a budget.

Other than this, the RAM is decent enough to go with.

7. Teamgroup T-Force Vulcan Z

This is the last memory module from the list and the second one from Teamgroup. Their T-force Vulcan Z is the final solution that you can avail of for your gaming needs.

This model consists of the specs below:

  • Capacity: 16 GB
  • CAS Latency of 16
  • High-quality ICs
  • Lifetime warranty

I have included this model from Teamgroup because it is the epitome of durability.  It stands for compactness, and it will provide you a sheer amount of stability.

The total body is made of aluminum, where the finishing is impressive. The best part about this aluminum body is that it’s non-corrosive.

Also, check out our expert’s recommended best Aura Sync compatible RAM for gaming freaks.

Now, if you want to know about some noteworthy features of this RAM, then the power efficiency would come first. I would rate this as the most power-efficient RAM on the list.

What makes me wonder is during tweaking, the level of power consumption seems way too low. You won’t find many memory kits with such traits. As I mentioned tweaking, the performance was stable during my testing. I would say it’s hard to find such RAM with all-around performance with a limited budget.

But with this model, you get the chance as it has high affordability.

Overall, a fantastic model from Teamgroup. Do give it a shot if it meets your requirements.
